Yizkor Gallery of Remembrance

We will display our Yizkor Gallery of Remembrance on Yom Kippur at the Yizkor (Memorial) Service. Over the past few years, we have transitioned from a physical book to a visual slideshow. The Gallery of Remembrance is dedicated to the memory of our loved ones who have died. By honoring their memory through gifts of tzedakah, our contributions become a living memorial supporting the continuity of Jewish life and community.
If you select "Yes" you will be emailed an invitation to fill out a Google Form with your submissions. Submissions must be received by September 22nd to be included in the Gallery of Remembrance.
Please enter an amount (suggested donation of $36/name).

Annual Appeal 5785

Please consider a contribution to our Annual Appeal. Your donation supports our efforts to build and strengthen a Jewish community in which people of all backgrounds find a deep sense of meaning, purpose, belonging, and joy.

Alameda County Community Food Bank
High Holy Days Virtual Food Drive

The Alameda County Community Food Bank estimates that the need for food assistance has nearly doubled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Synagogues participating in the annual High Holiday Food Drive are encouraged to make monetary donations to help ACCFB purchase its most needed items.  Because of the Food Bank’s impressive purchasing power (pre-pandemic, for every one dollar donated the Food Bank was able to purchase seven dollars of food), the funds congregants typically used to purchase food for the drive can instead be stretched even further and ensure the Food Bank’s shelves are well stocked heading into the busy holiday season.

Please click on the submit button to proceed to the payment page. Please note, we are only accepting online payments made by credit card or echeck. Logged-in members of Beth El will have the option to pay by check by selecting "Bill to my account."

If you require further assistance, please contact mac@bethelberkeley.org.
